A Journey Through Pregnancy...and Beyond!

This started out as a journal documenting my journey through the amazing experience of pregnancy sharing the highs and lows, the worries and the excitement as we awaited the arrival of our first baby. A long time in the making, Bella was born on 9th December 2008, at the Costa del Sol Hospital, Spain, via a rather traumatic birth! The rest of this blog is dedicated to the progress and developments of our gorgeous and amazing little lady...but now THE BABY MAKING CONTINUES...TWO FOLD!!!

Crawler alert!

I think we may have the beginnings of a crawler! Three times today when I have put Bella down on her tummy she has lifted her whole body off the ground and shifted forwards a little. While it is by no means "proper crawling" she did manage to go about a foot on all occasions. I really don't think it will be long before she's off!

A Little About Me

I'm Ellie, just turned 35, and live in Marbella, Spain with my wonderful family. I started this blog age 33 when pregnant with our first baby after 2 long years of trying.

Initially I shared the pregnancy experience, week by week, and now I'm delighted to bring you the progress of our beautiful daughter Bella.

I hope you enjoy following the antics of our little lady and I welcome feedback and comments from all you experienced mummies and daddies who know that the road to raising children is never a smooth one!
